Marriott International has signed a conversion deal with Malaysia's IOI Properties Group, which will see Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya reopen later this year as a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
"We are excited to build on our relationship with IOI Properties Group and further expand our portfolio in Malaysia," said Paul Foskey, chief development officer, Asia Pacific, Marriott International.
The four-star hotel is located in IOI Resort City, on the fringe of the Palm Garden Golf Club, and a 35-minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
It will go through a renovation before reopening as a Tribute Portfolio Hotel for Marriott in Malaysia.
Guests can check into the 151-key resort, which offers a signature Thai restaurant, an alfresco bar, two pools, and a recreation centre equipped with obstacle courses and various teambuilding facilities.
Planners can also book from the 11 event spaces including a 557sqm ballroom.
