The opening ceremony was officiated by chief executive, Chui Sai On along with key Macao government officials and executives from MGM Resorts International and MGM China Holdings Limited.
MGM opened the doors of MGM COTAI in Macau on February 13. The US$3.4-billion integrated resort is the latest addition to the portfolios of MGM China Holdings Limited and the parent company MGM Resorts International.
The opening ceremony was officiated by chief executive, Chui Sai On, along with key Macao government officials and executives from MGM Resorts International and MGM China Holdings Limited.
Celebrity chefs Mitsuharu Tsumura and Janice Wong were present to welcome diners at Aji while diners at MGM were welcomed by Janice Wong.
“Macau SAR is stepping into its 20 years and has made remarkable achievements. The city has now become a distinguished ‘Global Brand’, allowing us to showcase our ambition and determination by developing an architectural ‘Jewelry box’ for the city,” said Pansy Ho, co-chairperson and executive director of MGM China Holdings Limited.
The resort offers 1,390 hotel rooms and suites, 2,870sqm of meeting space, high-end spa, retail offerings and food and beverage outlets as well as the first international Mansion at MGM for the ultimate luxury experience.
MGM COTAI brings entertainment experiences through the Spectacle and MGM Theater, Asia's first dynamic theatre with resident shows.
