Thailand-based hospitality operator Centara Hotels & Resorts will open its second property in Japan, Centara Life Namba Hotel Osaka in 2Q 2026, following a rebrand from the former Nest & Rise Osaka Namba.

The 300-key hotel will open within 450m from Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, both located in the city’s heart. It is minutes from Imamiyaebisu Station and a 10-minute walk from Namba Station, while being walking distance from the bustling streets of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi.

Positioned as a cooler and more affordable option to its sister property, the hotel targets solo travellers, digital nomads and families seeking Centara’s Thai-inspired hospitality alongside a “modern, lifestyle-focused experience”.

Guests can pick from five room types, starting with the entry standard room (12sqm), to the largest deluxe family room or family room for larger groups putting up to four travellers (32.4sqm).

Apart from including some of Osaka’s most famous sights in design touches, Rooftop lounge Sora offers views of two iconic local attractions: Tsutenkaku, the iconic see-through observation deck; and Abeno Harukas, the highest skyscraper in Japan.
