Hilton has become the new exclusive partner of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a platform of 560 independent luxury hotels around the world.

Small Luxury Hotels has been a Hyatt partner since 2018 but SLH’s community of luxury boutique hotels spanning 90 countries will now check in alongside Hilton’s luxury Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR brands.

Hilton’s customers, including the more than 180 million members of Hilton Honors, will be able to book and earn and redeem Points for stays at participating SLH properties.

Participating SLH hotels will be bookable on all Hilton channels, giving the hotels exposure to a broader audience while potentially reducing marketing and distribution costs.

In a separate collaboration, Ovolo Hotels is joining the SLH portfolio, covering Ovolo hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Hong Kong. There are plans to add the By Ovolo Collection hotels in Melbourne and Bali to the SLH portfolio in Q1 2024.

Hyatt, which recently acquired Mr & Mrs Smith, a London-headquartered group of boutique properties, says World of Hyatt members can still book participating SLH Hotels on Hyatt’s booking channels, “and nothing changes as of now for existing World of Hyatt member reservations”.

Hilton is yet to advise of the exact date when all 560 SLH properties will be bookable via Hilton.com.
