The InterContinental Singapore hotel in Bugis has rebranded as Frasers House, opening its doors on 7 January 2026 under Marriott International’s The Luxury Collection portfolio.

Following the agreement announced between Marriott and Frasers in October last year, this marks the second Luxury Collection hotel in Singapore and the first located in the city centre of Bugis.

“Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore perfectly embodies the brand’s ethos – an authentic expression of place, offering rare and enriching journeys,” said Oriol Montal, regional vice president, luxury, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International.

The hotel will go through a phased transformation, and will offer 406 rooms and suites once the transition is complete.

Returning guests will recognise the building’s Peranakan-inspired design heritage, while the property’s 1,000 sqm of event space – which includes the grand ballroom and library – will also remain, but with refreshed design touches, modern amenities and heritage-inspired accents.

A new host of wellness offerings will be offered, while existing restaurants will receive renewed culinary concepts to “honour local flavours, craftsmanship, and conviviality”.
