The owners of Sydney’s Victorian-era GPO complex - Singapore’s Far East Organisation and its sister company Sino Land Company - are preparing a masterplan for the hotel tower that is part of the CBD development as they prepare to introduce The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts brand in October.

Far East Organisation/Sino Land already held a 99-year lease on the site and owns the adjoining Westin Hotel.

The pair plans to move the 420-room five-star hotel from Marriott International, which manages it under its Westin brand, and rebrand it as The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. It will be the brand’s first property in Australia.

Fullerton guests will be able to enjoy heritage walking tours that reveal the building’s origins and its connection to the history and culture of the surrounding area.
