Four Seasons announced last week that it will be concluding its management of Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel, on December 31, 2018, when the management agreement expires.
The owner of the hotel is Pontiac Land Group, and Four Seasons has been managing the hotel in the last 26 years under the Regent brand. The conclusion of the management agreement was mutually agreed upon between the parties involved. From January 1, 2019, the hotel will instead be managed by Capella Hotel Group, a leader in global hospitality management services. Its portfolio of luxury properties is comprised of nine hotels in China, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore and the United States, with 10 more currently under development in Australia, China, Indonesia, Maldives and Thailand.
“We at Capella Hotel Group look forward to working closely with all colleagues at the property towards continuous success and future growth. We are excited to unveil our plans for the hotel before the end of the year,” said Nicholas M. Clayton, CEO of Capella Hotel Group.
