Hyatt Hotels Corporation has debuted its new lifestyle hospitality
brand with the grand opening of the 140-room EPISODE Hsinchu, the first
hotel parked under the JdV by Hyatt portfolio in Taiwan.
The coastal city of Hsinchu sits along Taiwan’s northwestern coast,
located approximately an hour’s drive from Taipei and 40 minutes from
Taoyuan International Airport. EPISODE Hsinchu is located a short drive
from Hsinchu Science Park, also known as the Silicon Valley of Taiwan,
home to a number of science and technology universities and research
institutes.
Other than offering business travellers a place to stay close to
Hsinchu Science Park, travellers can also roam the grounds of ancient
buildings and cultural landmarks such as Chenghuang Temple and East
Gate, as well as explore the 18 Peaks Mountain Park and Siangshan
Wetlands.

The Family Loft Suite covers 86-97sqm of space with 1 king bed and 2 large beds that can sleep up to four adults and 2 children.
The pet-friendly hotel offers 140 rooms and suites, each equipped
with a Sealy mattress topped with 400-thread-count sheets, a sleep kit
and premium bathroom amenities. As part of the hotel’s sustainability
efforts, in-room bottled water for all guests is provided in reusable
glass bottles. Guests staying in the hotel’s highest-tiered Loft Suites
can expect to find a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer and a cocktail-making
bar serving Aquagen sparkling water.
Amenities within the hotel includes a 24-hour gym, a communal space
offering complimentary snacks, refreshments and happy hour, and a
restaurant featuring a Western-Asian menu created by Michelin-starred
chef Richie Lin. Coming soon to the hotel will also be a bar, wellness
programmes and a kid’s club.
To expedite check-in wait time, EPISODE Hsinchu has been fitted with
self-check-in kiosks. There are also staff stationed at the front desk
to deliver that human touch for guests who prefer personalised services.
