DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City opened its doors on 27 July in Selangor, extending Hilton’s portfolio to 13 hotels in Malaysia, with another nine in the pipeline.

Occupying a prime spot in Selangor’s golden triangle, DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City is located near the Shah Alam’s i-City Convention Center, Central-i-City mall, a theme park consisting of SnoWalk and Wet World Water Park. Other icons such as the Blue Mosque & Garden of Islamic Arts and the Sultran Alam Shah Museum are also located via a few minutes’ drive from the hotel.

The hotel is a 40-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, or a 25-minute ride by car from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.

All of the hotel’s 300 rooms each feature motion sensor blinds, a dedicated workspace, a mini-fridge, high-definition TV and high-speed internet access. Guests can expect to find eco-friendly full-sized bath amenities in their bathrooms, in line with Hilton’s sustainability commitment to reduce single use plastics.

Amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, a spa, and an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar.

A diverse array of F&B options at the hotel. Local Malaysian fare is served up at Makan Kitchen, while Tosca offers home-style Italian cuisine. Axis Lounge is where guests can go for afternoon tea or cocktails, and The Koffee is a casual deli and lounge serving fresh pastries and cakes.

DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City offers over 1,600sqm of event space, including a 1,170sqm pillar-less grand ballroom that can host up to 1,000 guests. For smaller meetings, there are 10 flexible meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual and technical facilities, along with high-speed internet.
