Accor has signed a landmark deal with Philippines hotel operator, Megaworld, to introduce the world’s biggest Mövenpick hotel in the country, with an opening set for mid-2026.
Upon the complete conversion of the current Grand Westside Hotel, Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside will offer 1,530 rooms within Megaworld's Westside City Township Development in Parañaque – an integrated tourism estate offering a mix of retail, entertainment, business, and leisure attractions.
The hotel will house four dining spots, including a specialty Filipino restaurant, an international all-day dining venue, bar, and Mövenpick's iconic complimentary afternoon experience, Chocolate Hour.
The signing of the flagship hotel marks Accor’s continued push into the premium hospitality segment, amid the country’s “increasing visitor arrivals and a growing domestic travel sector”.
“Our partnership with Megaworld for Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside underscores our confidence in the Philippines as a rapidly expanding market for high-quality, experience-driven hospitality,” said Andrew Langdon, Chief Development Officer, Asia, Accor.
The debut of Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside in 2026 will see Accor become the largest international hotel operator in the Philippines with 13 hotels and more than 4,700 keys across eight brands, alongside a development pipeline of 16 hotels.
