Passengers passing through the newly-opened Beijing Daxing International Airport have an in-terminal Aerotel option for brief stopovers.
The 9,000 sqm two-storey flagship facility has 215 rooms in five categories, including accessible.
Aerotel has also opened at London’s Heathrow Airport where it complements the six Plaza Premium Lounge locations at Terminal 2, 3, 4 and 5.
The Heathrow facility over two floors offers 82 guestrooms with an all-day dining and social spot Library Lounge.
In Beijing Daxing, Aerotel offers minimalist rooms with quality bedding, pillow options, soothing lighting and power showers.
In a first for Aerotel, the hotel houses two meeting rooms and one VIP room. The rooms are equipped with audio and visual systems and designed to provide venues for meetings and private dinners.
Guests can check-in at any time during the day or night and rent rooms in blocks of three, six, nine or 12 hours. They have access to high-speed wi-fi service for connectivity and IPTV for entertainment.
There's also a small gym and a game room.
Located in the North-west Pier of Daxing, Aerotel Beijing is five minutes from the nearest domestic check-in counters and a 10-minute walk from international ones.
Currently, Plaza Premium Group is managing eight lounges in mainland China, including two in Beijing and six in Shanghai, as well as Aerotel Guangzhou. The group has a large expansion plan in mainland China with a goal of 40 new openings across the country by 2024.
