Meetings organisers can follow the lights to Uluru

On offer are three separate Field of Light group experiences, ranging from a sunrise experience to a twilight dinner, indigenous performance and nighttime viewing of the installation, priced at A$235 per person for a minimum of 80 guests for exclusive use, and a maximum of 120 guests.

Ayers Rock Resort in central Australia is encouraging corporate groups to embrace Bruce Munro’s Field of Light Uluru, a stunning solar-powered art installation.

The Field of Light exhibition from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, will illuminate a remote desert area within sight of Uluru (Ayers Rock) with more than 50,000 slender stems crowned with frosted-glass spheres that will bloom as darkness falls over Australia’s spiritual heartland.

It is the first time artist Bruce Munro has brought his installation to Australia – it was during a visit to Uluru that he conceived the idea for Field of Light.

On offer are three separate Field of Light group experiences, ranging from a sunrise experience to a twilight dinner, indigenous performance and nighttime viewing of the installation, priced at A$235 per person for a minimum of 80 guests for exclusive use, and a maximum of 120 guests.

Alternatively, the Star Pass is an exclusive-use cocktail event prior to dinner. Priced at A$75 per person, this option includes return bus transfers; time to explore the Field of Light, and finishes with sparkling wine and canapes on an elevated platform, with panoramic views of the installation.

“We understand that event organisers are always looking for something different – an edge that will thrill their delegates and guests – and the Field of Light Uluru offers that extra element to an already intriguing destination,” said Voyages CEO, Andrew Williams.
