Airbnb has announced that it has signed leading companies in Asia Pacific (APAC) to its Airbnb for Work programme. The signed companies, which include Hyundai Motor Company and Culture Convenience Club Co. Ltd, puts Airbnb in a prime position to capitalise on the region's growing business travel sector.
The Global Business Travel Association estimates that APAC accounts for 40%, the largest proportion, of the global USD$1.2 trillion business travel spend. With an overall market expected to grow by 3.7% per year over the next decade, corporate travel spending is estimated to double to $645 billion annually.

Airbnb for Work targets companies of all sizes and can cater to employees' diverse travel needs by offering a range of business offerings including the option for business travellers to directly book Airbnb accommodations and automatically expense them back to their employers; the options to search for "Business Travel Ready" listings which come with WiFi, 24-hour check-in, designated work space, etc.; and by integrating a suite of travel management tools which provide travel managers with visibility into financial reporting data and employee itineraries.
