MGM Cotai has opened a dedicated check-in terminal for travellers bound for airports in Macao, Hong Kong, and Zhuhai – a move that also expands interconnectivity among Greater Bay Area cities.
Launched on 4 February, passengers can use the self-service terminal for flights to Hong Kong International Airport and Zhuhai Airport, from the B1 bus stop at MGM Cotai.
Passengers can then choose to board a shuttle or proceed independently to the airport. For the latter, options include the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (90 minutes) or the Hengqin Port (60 minutes).
The City Terminal is open daily from 9am to 6.30pm, offering four self-service check-in kiosks – two for Hong Kong International Airport, one for Zhuhai Airport and one dedicated to Air Macau.
There’s also a real-time flight information board attached. Checked baggage services are not available, although guests can choose to deliver luggage directly to the airport.
The new service targets travellers eligible for the 144- or 240-hour visa free transit policy, but who may not have chosen to extend their stay in Macao.
MGM Cotai joins Sands Macau as the second hotel in Macau to offer this facility.
