The pup plucked it from the post four years ago and nibbled away the binding corner of the travel document.
Chef Daniel has previously used the passport to travel around Europe without any problems and on the outbound leg he managed to pass comfortably through Singapore.
He said UK Border Force staff assured him it would be fine as no crucial identifying details were destroyed by the chewing.
