Munich Airport Forum - the largest covered space in Europe – will be transformed into a sporting arena later this month for the Ninja Days.
Originally inspired by the Japanese TV show Sasuke, the show is a competition in which athletes from around the world attempt to complete physically demanding obstacle courses, demonstrating their strength, agility and mental resilience.
The Ninja Champions Series, a professional competition format, will kick off at Munich Airport on 23 August with 50 professionals from more than 16 nations competing against each other in a knockout tournament.
Admission is free, but tickets must be ordered online in advance at munich-airport.de/ninja.
On 24 August, competitors will teach the techniques and basics of the sport in workshops for beginners and advanced participants.
