A new icon that rises more than 250m high now dominates Dubai's skyline: Ain Dubai.
Scheduled to open on 21 October, the new Dubai structure is nearly 100m taller than the previous record owner — the High Roller, standing 168m tall along the Las Vegas Strip.
Set on Bluewaters Island, Ain Dubai is now the world's largest and tallest observation wheel, offering three main experiences: observation cabins, social cabins and private cabins.
Each rotation takes about 38 minutes, and the 48 indoor cabins could be booked as a simple ride taking in 360-degree views of Dubai, or myriad options including dining in the sky, celebratory packages, nightlife and party occasions, as well as bespoke corporate and event offerings.
Mohamed Sharaf, COO of Dubai Holding Entertainment added that the attraction falls in line with the destination's drive to enhance its competitiveness as a key international tourism destination — including the recent July launch of Dubai's record-breaking pool.
Tickets went on sale since 6 September, and rates start from AED$130 (US$35).
