Spanish football league Real Madrid and Dubai Parks and Resorts have
partnered to develop the first Real Madrid theme park in the Middle East
by the fourth quarter of 2023, according to the world-famous football
club’s website.
The park would feature Real Madrid-related attractions, including a
museum, games to test visitors’ football skills, amusement rides and
outlets selling the team’s memorabilia, which document its historical
accomplishments.
The club said the “innovative new experience” would allow families as
well as football and sports fans of all ages to immerse themselves in
the “culture of the world's greatest football club”.
CEO Fernando Eiroa of Dubai Holding Entertainment, the park’s
manager, expressed delight that Real Madrid chose Dubai Parks and
Resorts as its partner to bring the best international entertainment
brands to the region.
“Real Madrid is a global football megastar with an unparalleled
record of success and millions of passionate fans in all corners of the
globe,” he said.
