The wizarding world of Harry Potter is coming to Legoland Deutschland, alongside Harry Potter themed accommodation in Bavaria, Germany.
As the world’s first Lego Harry Potter land, fans can expect a magical experience packed with iconic characters, locations and new adventures – in brick form.
The new Harry Potter world is expected to take three years to build, and will join Legoland Deutschland’s existing crop of 68 attractions across 11 themed areas.
Housing visitors after a tiring day out is another world first: a Harry Potter themed hotel at Legoland Deutschland.
Slated to welcome its first guests in 2026, each room will feature design representing the four Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, while common areas will showcase iconic locations from the popular show, through Lego design.
The hotel will be in proxy to major urban centers, with Munich and Stuttgart each 90 minutes away by car or train.
Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainments – the operator behind worldwide Legoland parks – announced that this new experience is the “largest-ever single investment into an existing Legoland site…and will [raise] the bar for creativity and innovation like never before”.
More details will be announced over the year.
