Thai Airways has bid farewell to Thai Smile Airways following the company's restructuring effective January 2024. The discontinuation of operations on thaismileair.com since 16 December 2023 marked the final chapter for the subsidiary.

This transition marks a significant moment for Thai Airways as it merges Thai Smile into its main operations, concluding the subsidiary's independent journey. Established in 2012, Thai Smile operated a fleet of 20 Airbus A320s, primarily servicing regional routes. Thai Airways now aims to optimise its fleet utilisation and enhance service offerings.

In light of these changes, Thai Airways has extended its support to passengers affected by Thai Smile's closure. Those seeking flight adjustments or further details can access information via Thai Airways' website, sales offices, authorised agents nationwide or its24-hour contact centre.
