Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Air has opened ticket sales for three weekly flights from Riyadh to Kuala Lumpur, operating with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The newly established flag carrier of Saudi Arabia is an entity under the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund.

The addition of Kuala Lumpur, along with a just announced route to Malaga in Spain, brings Riyadh Air’s planned network to eight destinations from Riyadh by August, including London, Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid and Manchester.

Riyadh Air's inaugural commercial flight departed Riyadh on 10 June and arrived at London Heathrow the same morning.

Regular year-round flights to Kuala Lumpur launch from July 30.
