DOHA – Qatar Airways has committed to continued operations of over 150 flights worldwide and further eased its booking policy, in a bid to enable travellers to make their way home amid tightening travel restrictions.

The airline has also amended its booking and flight disruption policies. Travellers will receive the full value of their unutilised ticket and an additional 10% of the fare as a travel voucher, which can be used for future bookings. Travellers can also opt for a full refund of the fare.

The airline said in a statement on Wednesday that it is committed to maintaining services to over 70 cities worldwide.

“We are constantly reviewing our operations to see where there is more demand and requests, and wherever possible we will add more flights or bigger aircraft.

“This is a challenging time for the aviation industry and we are thankful to airports and authorities and their staff around the world for their incredible efforts to help us get passengers home,” the airline said.

The airline has also amended its booking and flight disruption policies. Travellers will receive the full value of their unutilised ticket and an additional 10% of the fare as a travel voucher, which can be used for future bookings. Travellers can also opt for a full refund of the fare.

The validity of the policy has been extended to cover flight bookings for travel up to 30 September 2020 (previously 30 June 2020).
