HONG KONG - The main structure of Sky Bridge - the world’s longest airside bridge - has been delivered to its final position at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

The 200-metre long Sky Bridge, which is  expected to become operational in mid-2020, will connect Terminal 1 and the North Satellite Concourse, minimising travelling time between the two buildings as passengers will no longer need to shuttle by buses.

Sky Bridge was prefabricated in Zhongshan in mainland China and transported by sea to HKIA for assembly.

With the main structure of Sky Bridge in place, facilities installation and renovation works will now begin.
