China's start-up carrier Ruili Airlines (DR) will take delivery of 56 aircraft by the end of 2025, Ma Zhanwei, president of Ruili Airlines was reported as saying.

Ruili Airlines currently operates six aircraft – five Boeing 737-700s and one 737-800. One new aircraft is scheduled to take delivery by the end of this year.

The Kunming-based airline operates 34 flights daily on 12 domestic routes to 17 destinations, covering Yunnan, Sichuan, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Guangxi provinces, Tianjin and Chongqing. Since its maiden flight on May 18, 2014, Ruili Airlines has served over 10 thousand flights and over 12.5 million passengers and achieved over 900 million yuan (US$141.3 million) in revenue, accounting for 3.4% market share in Yunnan province.
