Increased personalised offers will be crucial as the aviation industry recovers, says Cathay Pacific of its content-tech integration with Amadeus.

Amadeus‐connected travel agents can soon transact Cathay Pacific bookings in one Amadeus Travel Platform, following the Hong Kong flag carrier's move to integrate its New Distribution Capability (NDC) sourced content with the travel technology company.

From 1Q 2022, this integration will allow Amadeus travel agents worldwide on Amadeus Selling Platform Connect or Amadeus Travel API to search, compare, book and service Cathay Pacific content via NDC in one merged display, alongside other content, in a familiar booking environment.

Cathay’s new NDC offers will include content such as seat selection, fare families, and special fares. Key functionalities such as ticketing exchange and refunds will also be available.
