Southeast Asia has greater connectivity to Australia’s Western Gateway with the launch of new Jetstar services from Perth to Singapore and Bangkok.

Jetstar’s Perth-Singapore service, which launched on 1 August, has been operating three services per week and is increasing to six weekly services from 3 September.

This will be followed by the launch of a new connection from Bangkok on 6 September, adding to the recently launched service between Phuket and Perth, which commenced on 6 August.

The Singapore to Perth service will leverage Jetstar’s existing partnerships with carriers in Asia, providing visitors a one-stop option to Perth.

The three new services mark the expansion of Jetstar’s operations in Western Australia, with up to 60 pilots set to be based in Perth to support the new connections with Thailand and Singapore.

More than 92,000 visitors arrived in Western Australia from Singapore in the year ending March 2024.
