Singapore will welcome the world’s leading global luxury travel network, Virtuoso, when it hosts the 2018 Asia-Pacific Owner Manager Forum on May 20-21.

More than 60 owners and managers representing Virtuoso agencies from across the Asia-Pacific region will join Virtuoso senior executives for two days of strategic overview, business seminars and information sharing, culminating in the annual Virtuoso APAC Luxury Awards 2018 and Gala Dinner.

“The Virtuoso APAC Owner Manager Forum plays a critical role in the execution and design of our business plan,” Virtuoso Asia-Pacific managing director Michael Londregan said.

“The Virtuoso philosophy relies heavily on the concept of co-creation and the work we do with our members at this forum establishes the strategic intent for the coming years along with our priorities to drive member success.”

Londregan said the Awards Dinner recognised the members and supply partners who excelled amongst their peers in the preceding year in areas of growth, engagement and excellence.

“This year, we are delighted to hold our APAC Forum in Singapore, which is significant as it demonstrates our commitment to Asia. It is also a key destination for our Australia and New Zealand members, and many will extend their stays to attend the ILTM Singapore event immediately following our forum.”

Londregan added, “The APAC region is amongst the fastest growing luxury travel markets in the world and Virtuoso will continue to invest by providing the in-market support that is critical to developing member success in the region.

“This event coincides with the opening of our Singapore office and the appointment of Evan Pierce as our Asia regional director.

“Asia is a newer market for Virtuoso with unlimited potential, and Evan will lead our ongoing expansion with a key focus on the development of our existing members and the targeted expansion into the complex China market.”

Londregan said Virtuoso CEO and founder, Matthew Upchurch, would take the opportunity to welcome two new members from China, including 8 Continents and Zhixing Lux, who have joined the network this year, as well as offering an open dialogue session for attendees.
