Rosewood Phnom Penh opens with a series of introductory offers, valid till July 31,2018, including A Taste of the Kingdom, which immerses guests into the culinary wonder of Cambodia; and Mekong Indulgence, which offers an urban getaway complete with pampering spa treatments.
Rosewood Phnom Penh opened yesterday (February 12) in the 39-storey Vattanac Capital Tower that is prominently located in the central cultural and business district along Preah Monivong Boulevard.
The launch is said to be “an important milestone in our global growth” for the group, according to Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer, Rosewood Hotel Group.
“Rosewood Phnom Penh satisfies [affluent explorers’ desire for authentic travel experiences] while also giving us the opportunitiy to raise our flag in one of Asia’s most fascinating cities,” she added.
The 175-key property boasts 37 suites, all designed with comfort and luxury in mind – basic rooms start from 50 sqm to the signature Norodom House at 225 sqm. Designed by Melbourne’s BAR Studio, the hotel captures the essence of Khmer architecture, French colonial heritage and Cambodian craft techniques for a subtle class-meets-contemporary style.
The property also features four dining venues, including Brasserie Louis—a French and Cambodian restaurant located on the 35th floor—that has panoramic views of the city skyline. The highlight of the dining journey is Sora—the highest bar in Phnom Penh, which is perched on a cantilevered terrace on the 37th floor.
