Mirai Flights, the private jet booking platform, has doubled the ‘empty leg’ flights available on its website and app through its 300-plus operators.
‘Empty leg’ flights, which are private jet routes that would otherwise fly empty, are often available at up to 75% off the standard fare.
Mirai said nearly 30% of private jets fly back without passengers. “These routes help savvy travellers enjoy all the benefits of private aviation at a fraction of the cost, and can meet traveller demand for control, time efficiency and unforgettable experiences.”
Mirai says non its website that it pays commission to travel agents.
