Location and History

The Stateview Hotel, a relative newcomer, is already an accommodation of choice for visitors to North Carolina State University or nearby Raleigh. It was a new build when it opened in October 2017, and although it leases land from the university, it is not owned or operated by the university. Instead, it is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection.

It's less than two miles from the university's main campus, though its wooded surroundings suggest otherwise....
