
Audience at the tradeshow got a taste of ‘China’s Got Talent’ – The Dream Experience that will be shown onboard Genting Dream.
Titled ‘‘China’s Got Talent’ – The Dream Experience’, the 45-minute show will be the first ‘China’s Got Talent’ at sea, and is produced by Emmy Award-winning producer activeTV and Dream Cruises’ Entertainment team.
Dream Cruises, Genting Hong Kong’s new cruise line, revealed today at a trade roadshow that guests onboard Genting Dream, the inaugural cruise ship from Dream Cruises, will be entertained by a theatrical representation of the global TV phenomenon ‘China’s Got Talent’ as they cruise the seas.
Titled ‘‘China’s Got Talent’ – The Dream Experience’, the 45-minute show will be the first ‘China’s Got Talent’ at sea, and is produced by Emmy Award-winning producer activeTV and Dream Cruises’ Entertainment team.
It will be held in the Zodiac Theatre, the cruise ship’s 999-seater state-of-the-art venue.
“As one the biggest entertainment content creators and distributors in scripted entertainment shows, FremantleMedia is excited that our top-tier intellectual property – the ‘Got Talent’ series is part of this amazing journey at sea, which inspires us to serve our audience better with an upgraded experience,” said Vivian Yin, CEO of FremantleMedia China, which, together with British entertainment company SYCO, own the rights to “Got Talent”.
After the unveiling, guests enjoyed a live performance by Jinlai Zhang, a young acrobat who previously performed on ‘China’s Got Talent.’ He appeared to defy gravity as he performed his routine, titled ‘Spacewalk’, to inspiring music, amazing the audience with his strength and agility.
Said Dream Cruises President Thatcher Brown at the unveiling ceremony, “I am delighted that our guests will have the opportunity to get up close and personal to the performers in the show. I know the stage will be full of searing performances, tears and drama – and guests will be part of the action by voting for their favourite performer.”
Casting for the performers will take place shortly throughout China, tapping into Genting Hong Kong’s vast experience in booking hundreds of acts for their cruise ships and entertainment venues around the world.
