Princess Cruises’ newest Royal-Class ship, Discovery Princess, made her maiden call to Singapore on 28 October 2025, arriving at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

The ship embarked on a five-day inaugural cruise to Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Penang, and Langkawi before returning to Singapore on 2 November for a month-long dry dock.

This will be her only voyage in Southeast Asia before she sails to Australia for her first homeporting season in Sydney (6 December 2025 – 7 April 2026), offering over 20 itineraries around Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, and celebrating Princess Cruises’ 50th anniversary of operations from Australia.

Discovery Princess highlights

Launched in March 2022, Discovery Princess accommodates 3,660 guests and 1,300 crew, featuring 1,800 staterooms, including more than 1,400 with balconies. Its Sky Suites boast Princess’ largest balconies at sea, offering sweeping 270° views.

Dining choices abound with over 20 restaurants and bars, from three main dining rooms and casual favourites like the 24-hour café and World Fresh Marketplace buffet to specialty venues.

Guests can indulge in “360: An Extraordinary Experience,” a seven-course, multi-sensory dining journey inspired by world destinations, unwind at The Sanctuary, or catch Broadway-style productions at the state-of-the-art Princess Theater.

More Princesses on the horizon

Diamond Princess will return to Singapore on 6 December 2025 to begin her Southeast Asia homeporting season through February 2026, calling at ports across Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Crown Princess will also make her maiden call to Singapore in late November 2025, adding to Princess Cruises’ growing footprint in the region.
