StarDream Cruises is taking pickleball – the fastest-growing sport in Asia and around the world – to sea.

Guests aboard Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream (departing from Singapore) and StarCruises’ Star Navigator (departing from Keelung and soon Kaohsiung) can pick up a  pickleball paddle while sailing across Asia’s most exciting destinations.

The ships’ basketball courts have been transformed into two full pickleball courts on Genting Dream and one on Star Navigator.

“Pickleball is easy to learn, exciting to play and fun for all ages – perfect for families, friends, and first-time cruisers looking to try something new,” said Michael Goh, president, StarDream Cruises.

On Genting Dream, starting from 21 September, guests can combine pickleball play with 2-night and 3-night itineraries sailing between Singapore and Melaka, as well as to Penang and Phuket.

For a longer adventure, and more pickleball action, Genting Dream has a special 5-night cruise to  Bali, departing on 30 November.

On Star Navigator from 26 September onwards, cruisers can look forward to longer, more elaborate itineraries across Asia. From Keelung, she will showcase roundtrip sailings to Japan’s Okinawa and Kyushu, as well as Jeju and Busan in South Korea.

From 16 November to 30 January 2026, Star Navigator will also homeport in Kaohsiung - with 2-Night and 5-night cruises to Okinawa, the Philippines (Laoag, Coron, Boracay, Puerto Princesa) and Vietnam (Ha Long Bay, Da Nang)
