Ponant and South Sea pearling company Paspaley have unveiled a partnership to introduce a new expedition yacht, the Paspaley Pearl, set to embark on its maiden voyage in January 2025.

The yacht will undergo a multimillion-dollar refurbishment before offering year-round expeditions to remote Asia Pacific destinations, including the Kimberley region of Australia, Far North Australia, East Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.

The Paspaley Pearl will accommodate 30 guests and feature a crew of 21, including four naturalist guides. The yacht will be unique in the Kimberley region for providing private balconies for all guests.

Onboard amenities will include a Sunset Lounge, a Sun Deck Lounge with an eight-person Jacuzzi, and regionally-inspired cuisine highlighting local specialties.
