Oceania Cruises’ launch of its 2024 Voyage Collection was met with
high demand, with the opening day for this series of sailings marking
the cruise line's best single-day booking record.
The collection of 350 itineraries including 130 Grand Voyages around
the world, ranging from seven to 82 days in length and spanning from
October 2023 to December 2024, recently opened for reservations on 4
May.
Upon launch, cruisers were the most drawn to Oceania Cruises’ Asia
sailings, according to the cruise line, followed by South America and
Northern Europe. Africa, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand
also showed strong demand.
"The 2024 Collection launch illustrates tremendous and continued
strong demand for cruising in addition to highlighting the increased
trend in planning travel farther out, both for past guests and
new-to-brand guests," stated Howard Sherman, president & CEO of
Oceania Cruises.
The Riviera’s inaugural season in Asia takes cruisers to destinations
like Arabia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, South Korea and
Japan.
There are also itineraries that allow tourists to visit singular
countries or regions with in-depth immersions of Japan, Arabia, and
Indochina.
The Nautica will also allow travellers to explore Asia with the
addition of visiting South Africa, Mozambique, the Seychelles and more.
New ports of call include Beppu and Kumamoto in Japan and Coron in the
Philippines.
Oceania Cruises will deploy six of its ships for the 2024 European
season to sail to the Mediterranean, the Holy Lands, Greenland, Iceland
and more. The Riviera and Vista ships will sail the Mediterranean in
2024, while the Insignia, Nautica, Marina and Sirena will spend most of
the season in northern and western Europe.
For New Zealand and Australia, Oceania Cruises’ Regatta and Nautica
will present an intense focus on these two destinations, including a
35-day holiday circumnavigation of the continent. There are also voyages
that follow the Southern Cross across the Pacific and up to Polynesia
where Nautica offers a series of four 10-day sailings roundtrip from
Papeete.
In North America, the Regatta will once again reprise its
widely-loved Alaska sailing during the summer, with stops in Icy Strait
Point, Kodiak, Skagway and more. Insignia and Nautica will offer
sailings to Bermuda, New England, and Canada's maritime provinces from
New York City, Boston, and Montreal.
