MSC Cruises will introduce a distinct Asian bar theme aboard MSC World Asia when the ship begins sailing in December.
The new World Class ship will incorporate references to Asian culture, art and landscapes across its food-and-beverage offering, including in a pair of new bars and lounges.
Coral Cove Bar will sit within the Coral Cove Pool area and take its design inspiration from the colours and natural forms of a Philippine coral reef. The relaxed poolside venue will serve a selection of classic drinks throughout the day.
The Pan Asian Bar will overlook the ship’s Promenade and form part of the new Pan Asian Street Food concept, one of three venues inspired by Southeast Asian street food.
Its menu will include cocktails influenced by Asian flavours, including Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris, and Matcha Coladas. The bar will also serve beers from across Asia, as well as Oceanic Asian, a specially crafted draught beer brewed at sea with what MSC describes as oriental notes.
MSC World Asia will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on 4 December 2026, calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta. The ship will feature more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, including five new bar and lounge concepts.
