MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its third World Class ship, MSC World Asia, set to debut in December 2026. However, despite the name, the vessel will not be sailing to Asia yet.

The ship will operate in the Western Mediterranean, offering seven-night itineraries starting on 11 December 2026. Ports of call will include Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Genoa, Civitavecchia (for Rome), Messina (Italy), and Valletta (Malta), with accessible embarkation options for all types of travellers.

For the summer 2027 season, the itinerary will shift slightly, adding Naples to the rotation and maintaining stops in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Messina, and Valletta.

As part of MSC's World Class series, MSC World Asia will feature the brand’s signature plumb bow and Y-shaped aft, leading to an outdoor promenade. The ship will boast over 40 bars, lounges, restaurants, and family-friendly facilities.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, shared, “MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer getaways.”

MSC World Asia will also be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), aligning with MSC's sustainability goals.

Bookings are now open, with exclusive benefits for MSC Voyager’s Club members who book by 13 February 2025, including extra membership points, onboard credit, and additional discounts.
