Holland America is introducing new bandstands at the Lido Pool on Oosterdam and Zuiderdam, creating dedicated venues for live music as part of the cruise line’s US$500 million Evolution transformation.

“Over the past several years, we've been on a journey to expand and elevate our entertainment offerings across the fleet, guided by what our guests tell us they love most,“ said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line.

“The new Lido Pool bandstands are another step in that effort, creating more opportunities to enjoy live music and memorable performances in one of the ship’s most popular gathering spaces.”

Programming at the new venue will include a variety of musical acts, including live bands, along with events connected to Holland America Line’s signature Orange Party.

The largest fleet update in the company’s 153-year history, Holland America Evolution is revitalising six Vista and Signature Class ships.

Bookings are now open for Oosterdam’s and Zuiderdam’s cruises following both refurbishments.
