Prospects for cruising in Asia are looking positive as 2021 comes into sight.

Not only have domestic cruise operations restarted in Singapore with enhanced health and safety measures in place, more ports in the region are planning to reopen to cruising. The recent Covid cruise scare has highlighted the robustness of the health and safety protocols that the Singapore government and the cruise industry have in place.

Looking ahead, what's next on the horizon for cruise tourism in Asia? How can travel agents capitalise on the recent events and gain forward momentum for their business?

After round one of our successful CruiseWorld Asia travel agent webinars in October, Travel Weekly Asia is once again bringing together cruise tourism experts in Southeast Asia for our upcoming CruiseWorld Asia Regional Conference.

Taking place virtually on 15 December 2020 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm (GMT+8), this half-day virtual event will feature three panel discussions with leading speakers from NTOs, cruise lines and travel agencies sharing their latest insights and tips on how to drive the cruise business forward in the new year.

During this three-hour virtual event, cruise industry leaders will share their learnings and insights with travel agents on how to capitalise on recent events and gain forward momentum. Agents will be able to hear from ports and destinations on their plans for reopening and hear how cruise passengers are responding to the latest safety measures. There will also be opportunities for virtual networking with cruise experts and fellow agents.

Registration for CruiseWorld Asia Regional Conference is complimentary for travel agents, and lucky winners will also stand a chance to win a cruise holiday.

This event is sponsored by Singapore Tourism Board, Royal Caribbean International, Genting Cruise Lines and Indonesia Tourism, with support from partner associations including ASEANTA, ASTINDO, FTA, MATTA, NATAS and PTAA.

CruiseWorld Asia is the leading cruise conference in Asia-Pacific, organised by Travel Weekly Asia, a brand of Northstar Travel Group.
