Travellers can now book their holidays onboard Royal Caribbean’s latest ship, the Legend of the Seas, set to sail off in July 2026 across Europe, before heading to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for its Caribbean debut in November.

“With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries with more of what guests know and love,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean.

Legend will kick off European summers in 2026 with a 7-night sailing across Barcelona, Spain; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; Provence (Marseille), France; and Naples, Italy, and Palma De Mallorca, Spain.

Later in November, Legend will then make its Caribbean debut in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with 6-night Western Caribbean getaways and 8-night Southern Caribbean vacations to the beaches of Oranjestad, Aruba, and Willemstad, Curacao. All Caribbean sailings will also include a visit to CocoCay Island, offering turquoise blue waters and beaches, a thrilling waterpark, pools, swim-up bars and more.

More thrills, chill and entertainment

Onboard, new highlights include the Hollywoodland Supper Club to curb late night cravings, or explore the ancient Silk Routes via a five-course expedition of flavours and history at Royal Railway – Legend Station.

Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ makes its golden ticket debut at sea in the Royal Theater, joining crowd favourite Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea.

Water babies can hit the six waterslides housed in the largest waterpark at sea, and little ones can tee off at the new Lost Dunes mini golf area while youngsters keep busy at the redesigned Playscape zone.

There’s also space for larger families, who can check into the redesigned three-storey ultimate family townhouse.

Returning cruisers with the Royal Caribbean ships will also find familiar signature attractions, refreshed for Legend. For instance, food hall AquaDome Market added five new all-day food stands and juice bar, while adrenaline junkies can expect even more excitement as high divers, aerialists, robots, and dancers perform at AquaTheater.

Royal Caribbean has also brought back favourites into Legend, such as the Royal Promenade’s floor-to-ceiling ocean views, Pearl – the world’s largest kinetic art sculpture – and the open-air Central Park lined with more than 30,500 real plants and restaurants, live music, convenient pick-up windows for sushi, champagne, sparkling wine and more.

For socially conscious travellers, Legend will be Royal Caribbean’s fourth ship fuelled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), and feature environmental programmes such as waste heat recovery systems to shore power connection.
