Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled an array of enhancements on
the Norwegian Joy cruise ship following a comprehensive three-week dry
dock.
“Our guests have asked for these enhancements to Norwegian Joy, and
we delivered," said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise
Line. "We strive to evolve the onboard experience based on our guests'
wants and needs, and this is another example of how we put them first in
our decision-making.
A significant addition is the expansive Thermal Suite at the Mandara
Spa and Salon, now the largest among the Breakaway-Plus class ships. The
suite offers rejuvenating amenities, including four senses loungers, a
sauna, an ice room, and a steam room.

Upgrades have transformed the Three-Bedroom Haven Premier Owner’s Suites on Norwegian Joy, offering expanded spaces, renovated interiors, and enhanced panoramic views.
Meanwhile, The Haven by Norwegian Premier Owner’s Suites have been
expanded to three bedrooms, featuring upgraded living spaces and
panoramic views from the forward-facing The Haven Horizon Lounge.
Further enriching the onboard experience is the extended Vibe Beach
Club, boasting a layout akin to those on Norwegian Encore and Norwegian
Bliss, complete with new private luxe cabanas. Norwegian Joy also
features 21 bars and lounges, 16 complimentary and specialty
restaurants, and enticing activities such as the Norwegian Joy Speedway,
Aqua Park, and world-class entertainment.
Following its dry dock in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Norwegian Joy
embarked on an 11-Day Transatlantic voyage from Southampton to Miami on
11 February 2024.
The ship now offers seven-day, round-trip Caribbean voyages from
Miami, with plans to sail to New York in the summer of 2024, offering
cruises to Bermuda.
Guests can take advantage of NCL’s Free at Sea programme, providing
complimentary add-ons such as unlimited open bar, specialty dining,
Wi-Fi, shore excursion credits, and, on select voyages, free airfare for
the second guest, with third and fourth guests sailing free.
