Orient-Express Hotels establishes new Bangkok office

SINGAPORE - Orient-Express' is establishing a new regional office in Bangkok for Orient-Express Hotels.

Its Singapore office will remain the operational headquarters for the Eastern & Oriental Express and the regional reservations and sales office for Orient-Express Trains & Cruises.

With this new development, Tom Ever-Swindell will relocate to Bangkok effective July 1 where he will be general manager Asia for Orient-Express Hotels.

In February this year, Orient-Express invested in Hong Kong's Pansea Group which operates five hotels in South-east Asia. Pansea has its corporate office in Bangkok.

Leesa Lovelace has been promoted to head the Singapore operations as general manager, also effective July 1. She was previously deputy general manager.
