Description
Hotel combines European feel with ambiance of American Southwest - At base of Camelback Mountain - Heart of Scottsdale.
Location and History
Nestled at the base of Camelback Mountain, 6 miles northeast of Sky Harbor Airport, this resort remains Arizona's grand dame, a desert version of the Hawaiian tropic's Grand Wailea.
Truly grand and exotic, it covers 250 acres that encompass golf, a world-class spa, extensive meeting facilities and a colony of luxury homes, as well as an extravagant pool complex that, from the air, has the resort looking like a colorful archipelago.
It was once a stiff-collared homage to 1980s excess, guided by stellar service and quality.
