Location and History
This hotel was previously a private palace, dating to the 1700s, owned by the Pachta family. The family loved classical music and regularly invited various European composers to perform at their home, hence the hotel's name.
The property is nestled in a privileged spot on the edge of the river Vltava and two blocks from Charles Bridge. It is a handsomely preserved baroque wonder and offers some of the most original and lavish accommodations in Prague.
Although the front building is square and stately, dressed in yellow with wrought-iron fixtures, this entire hotel is composed of three historically listed properties dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries, linked by manicured courtyards.
