Location and History
The massive building housing this hotel dates back to the early 1900s, when it was a big shopping mall. In the 1950s it was converted into a hotel. Over the decades, the hotel has changed owners and names several times.
In the early 2020s, Starwood Hotels, with its sub-group 1 Hotels, took over and completely transformed this property into a nature-oriented masterpiece which opened in August 2025.
It's seriously ecologically oriented. There are no plastics used, and most products are organic, local and/or recycled.
