Porto is a tad closer, and with more international flights than ever it is the easier airport. Lisbon is two hours to the south.
This unique, storied lodge of royal pedigree offers up the best accommodations and restaurant in stunning Coimbra. To reach the old town, however, a steep walk is required that can be especially daunting in summer.
