Louvre Hotel Group will open two hotels next year totaling almost 550 rooms at the Funtasy Island theme park on the Indonesian island of Batam.
Louvre will open a 341-room Royal Tulip and a 183-room Golden Tulip hotel. There also will be a 260-seat restaurant.
Funtasy Island bills itself as the world’s largest ecological theme park. It covers 810 acres and can be reached via fast ferries from Singapore in about 45 minutes.
