In celebration of Cambodia reopening to vaccinated international
travellers without quarantine, Accor has launched its For the Love of
Captivating Cambodia campaign in hopes of inspiring travellers to
explore the country’s renowned heritage sites and extensive array of
experiences.
Under the campaign, guests staying at any Accor properties across
Cambodia will be rewarded with USD50 in-hotel credits per night that can
be used on meals, beverages or spa treatments.
Accor is the largest international hotel operator in Cambodia, with
addresses under the Raffles, Sofitel, TRIBE and ibis Styles brands in
both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.
Accor also launched a short film titled ‘Unveil Cambodia’ to showcase
the country’s ancient wonders and the comfort of its accommodations.
“Travel has been fundamentally altered by the pandemic. Now more than
ever, people are in search for far more meaningful and purposeful
travel—the slow experiential kind of journeys in safe, secluded and
sustainable destinations, conscious of the impact on the community. Siem
Reap is a perfect match for all these reasons,” says Rey Moraga, front
officer manager of Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor.
Bookings are open now under the “For the love of Captivating
Cambodia’ offer that runs to 28 February 2022, for stays up until 31
March 2022. Besides extending complimentary credits for dining, wining
and wellness, Accor also offers flexible reservations, offering peace of
mind to guests in unforeseen circumstances.
From 15 November 2021, fully vaccinated travellers can visit Cambodia
without quarantine, provided they carry evidence of a negative PCR test
conducted no longer than 72 hours prior to travel, and take a rapid
test upon arrival.
Cambodia boasts an 88% vaccination rate of its 16 million population,
with booster shots currently being dispensed. The success of its
nationwide vaccination campaign gave Cambodia the confidence of fully
reopening its socio-economy activities and reinstating international
tourism.
