Co-living project HOMA Phuket Town forged a partnership with Bangkok Hospital to drive medical tourism and offer international travellers a recuperative stay in the comforts of a luxury hotel with state-of-the-art healthcare.

Phuket will reopen to vaccinated tourists on 1 July (a new model that allows fully-vaccinated travellers to enter Thailand without quarantine). Inbound travellers who arrive at the island through the Phuket Sandbox programme will be able to look forward to a recuperative retreat that nourishes their body and mind at HOME Phuket Town, a 505-unit facility that boasts luxury hospitality features like restaurants, co-working spaces, fitness centres and spas.

HOMA Phuket Town signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangkok Hospital Phuket, a world-class medical facility in Phuket that is located only 400m away from the co-living project, to offer personalised packages for convalescent guests that will integrate professional medical consultations and treatments with luxurious hotel-like amenities.

“By blending our affordable, eco-friendly accommodation with the professional services of Bangkok Hospital Phuket, our new packages will allow guests to rest and recuperate in a stylish setting, while also supporting the recovery of Thailand’s tourism industry,” said Luca Dotti, founder and managing director at HOMA.

This new cooperation will give impetus to Phuket’s crusade for establishing itself as an ideal destination for overseas patients as the world resumes travel. Sustainable wellbeing, beauty and complex surgeries — this trifecta of medical specialisations that Bangkok Hospital Phuket offers can entice international medical tourists from Thailand’s main target markets.

In Bangkok Hospital Phuket’s partnership with HOMA Phuket Town, foreigners who arrive in Phuket under the Phuket Sandbox programme can upgrade their stay at HOMA Phuket Town that comes equipped with professional consultations and treatments from the expert doctors and therapists at Bangkok Hospital Phuket.

HOMA Phuket Town has curated exclusive packages that allows its tenants to enjoy a virtual consultation with doctors, from the comfort of their spacious, fully-furnished apartment. A selection of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units have been specially adapted to aid rest and recuperation, with integrated connection to Bangkok Hospital’s CareConnect Centre.

CareConnect offers state-of-the-art personalised patient care with the latest technology, along with professional health monitoring and analysis by a multidisciplinary team.

“Thailand is one of the world’s leading medical tourism destinations, attracting patients from all around the world. With travellers now even more aware of health and wellness, we believe that this sector will continue to grow in the coming years,” Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Assistant Hospital Director, Chatchai Charoensri M.D. said.

Every recovering guest’s experience will be elevated by HOMA’s upscale hotel-style facilities that feature an infinity pool, a fitness centre, yoga area, café and restaurant. The stay will be further supplemented by professional hospitality services including a “HOMA Host”, laundry, housekeeping, fully equipped kitchens in every unit, and 24-hour reception.

HOMA Phuket Town also immerses visitors in nature, with verdant gardens and native trees, while advanced air conditioning and “Low E” glass helps to regulate the internal temperature of each unit and provide a better quality of living. In addition to that, a bright co-working space and complimentary Wi-Fi allow executives and entrepreneurs to stay connected with their family, colleagues or clients as they recuperate in their paradisiacal surroundings.
