Chinese travellers are ready to travel again, if going by their hotel bookings for the May Day holidays, according to DidaTravel. The China-based B2B accommodation wholesaler announced that Chinese tourists' international hotel bookings for the upcoming May Day holiday have increased 30-fold YoY, surpassing pre-pandemic 2019 volumes by 18%.

Moreover, the ADR for Chinese international hotel bookings has also increased by 47% YoY, reaching 95% of their 2019 level, making it clear that Chinese travellers are eager to resume their travel plans.
